Sunsoft’s Ufouria: The Saga 2 coming to consoles

Red Art Games is extremely excited to unveil its partnership with legendary Japanese publisher Sunsoft. As part of this partnership, Red Art Games is bringing the delightfully quirky Ufouria: The Saga 2 to Western consoles and Steam on March 1. Sequel to the 1991 Famicom/NES cult classic Ufouria: The Saga, Ufouria: The Saga 2 is a beautiful and humorous exploration-based side-scroller. Developed and published by Sunsoft in Japan, Ufouria: The Saga 2 has been ported to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S by Red Art Studios and is being published by Red Art Games in the West.

At launch, digital copies of Ufouria: The Saga 2 will cost $24.99/€24.99 on Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam. Ufouria: The Saga 2 will also get a physical release on Nintendo Switch, PS5 and Xbox Series X in Europe. In North America, Video Games Plus (VGP) will distribute ESRB-rated Nintendo Switch and PS5 copies of Ufouria: The Saga 2. Physical copies of the long awaited sequel to Sunsoft’s 8-bit classic will cost $39.99 and €39.99 in North America and Europe respectively and will come out during Q3 2024.

In addition to Ufouria: The Saga 2’s Standard Edition which will be available everywhere once it launches, one special edition can also be pre-ordered exclusively from Red Art Games’ official online store now.
