Square Enix to Create FFIV in 3D on the DS

Building off the success of FFIII, Square Enix has unveiled plans to remake Final Fantasy IV, a quest involving a pissed off Dragoon and a Spoony Bard.  Japan’s Jump magazine featured the upcoming game with 3D graphics.  Whether or not the FFIII engine will be used in unknown.

Beside the updated visuals, the game will be enhanced through the use of new level designs and upgraded story elements.  All characters are scheduled to be completed reworked to fit the upgrade.  And just as a side note, FFIV was ported to the GBA.

This game has no released date but expect to see more details this weekend sprung from the major Square Enix Party.  Stay with mygamer.com.
