Sniper Elite Goes Gold

Namco?s sniper simulation, [i]Sniper Elite[/i] has gone gold. The game puts you near the end of World War II in Berlin, and in the shoes of an OSS agent sent behind enemy lines. You are charged with keeping delicate atomic weapon information out of the hands of the Soviets in an international race for nuclear arms. [i]Sniper Elite[/i] is designed with unique and advanced sniping mechanics to fully give the player an enhanced feeling of tense sniper experiences and action. Namco plans to have the missions spread over open-ended environments and 28 engaging levels. Online play is planned as well for players to go up against each other in giant games of cat and mouse in modes such as deathmatch and assassination.

[i]Sniper Elite[/i] is slated for a 10/18/2005 release on the Xbox, PS2, and PC at a suggested retail price of $39.99. [i]Sniper Elite[/i] is rated M for mature.
