MTV announced Thursday that they had secured the film rights to Atari’s upcoming Marc Ecko: Getting Up. The game pluts players in the role of a grafitti artist in a politically dangerous future, and will feature the voice talent of MTV-friendly personalities such as Sean “Changes His Name More Than Prince” Combs. This is MTV’s first attempt at a movie based on a video game.

No release date, cast, or crew information for the movie was given, though the game has been secheduled for release on the PS2, PC, and XBox in February, after some delays.
