Konami launched the METAL GEAR SOLID HD Collection in North America for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Featuring three complete games, METAL GEAR SOLID 2: Sons of Liberty, METAL GEAR SOLID 3: Snake Eater and METAL GEAR SOLID: Peace Walker, this special re-mastered HD set retails at $49.99.

METAL GEAR SOLID 2: Sons of Liberty has received high accolades from nearly all major publications and websites. METAL GEAR SOLID 3: Snake Eater, a prequel to the entire METAL GEAR SOLID series, followed in 2004. Released in 2010 for the PlayStation Portable, METAL GEAR SOLID: Peace Walker is the fourth METAL GEAR SOLID title for the PSP and has garnered several top gaming industry awards and honors.
