Earlier this morning, Paradox Interactive announced that [i]Hearts of Iron[/i] has officially gone gold. In the game, you are the supreme leader of a struggling country of your choosing during World War II with the ultimate goal of winning the war. You’ll also need to guide your nation through various aspects including alliances, technoligical advances, strategic thinking, and military production.
Featuring a newly designed user interface that enhances the experience, players should expect much improved gameplay elements such as detailed diplomacy and production systems that help avoid micromanagement.
Other additions like the “Movement-is-attack” combat system and the addition of four major campaigns look to make this game the best WWII strategy experience for hardcore gamers.
[i]Hearts of Iron[/i] is slated to hit stores shelves for the PC in January.
