This morning Valve opened the ability to pre-order Half-Life Orange box through its online store front /Steam/. The game will not be released until sometime in October but this pre-order chance means that the game has officially gone gold.
Half-Life: Orange box contains Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode 1 and 2, Team Fortress 2, and Portal. The games will be able to be bought outside of the package, but at a much greater price. For those of us who already own Half-Life 2 and Episode 1 you will receive a code that you will be able to gift to a friend. Not back considering this is the cheapest way to buy the new content.
Included in the bundle is the ability to play the beta for Team Fortress 2, as well as five dollars off the entire package.
