Morten Byom has been named the new Game Director for [i]Anarchy Online[/i], according to a press release issued by the company today. Serving as a long time member of the game’s development team, Bynom’s list of achievements is highlighted by his work on [i]Shadowlands[/i], where he racked in over 20 awards.
“I am aware that I am standing on the shoulders of giants when it comes to being a Game Director for AO” said Morten Byom. “Still, as I have been an integral part of the team for years I feel confident I can carry on the torch to further illuminate AO. I truly look forward to take the creative lead, and will do my best in making the ultimate sci-fi MMORPG even better.”
In the release, Funcom also unveiled their plans for a major graphics upgrade for Anarchy Online. The company says even though the game has recieved praise for its graphics, they could be better and are at work on improving textures and enviornments.
