Rant on!!

I didn't read the whole rant (mostly cause it was reallllly long), but I like the concept.

If Sony vs. Microsoft is WWIII, then Nintendo is Switzerland.

Also, is the Sony Blu-Ray player also a surround sound tuner? If so, then $1000 is an insanely GOOD price for a new optical technology. If not, then it's still a pretty standard price for a brand new technology. I'm sure the very first DVD players were up there as well.
 
I do think that XBox has a strong advantage going into 2007. However, it will never be successful in Japan, no matter how hard they try. I kind of feel sorry for them there.

I think the pricing of the PS3 is goign to put it out of reach for a majority of gamers. I also think that online play will be terribly annoying with all the spoiled 12 year olds who get their PS3 from their enabling, rich parents.
