The budget monster attacked, and I was defeated.
We took a look at how the money situation was going down over the next few months, and I decided that instead of spending $300+ now for the Wii, and then my wife spending another $200+ on Christmas presents for me, that it would be better for her to get me a Wii for Christmas (since I don't really want anything else).
It was a very hard decision to make. When you've been counting down the days for over a month, 5 extra weeks is a big deal.
