I'm back into comics in a big way. And really, a whole lot of simply awesome stuff is happening right now in the Marvel Universe.
Spider-Man: During the Civil War, Spider-Man unmasked himself to the world, and the Kingpin immediately put a hit out on him. A sniper tracked down an on-the-run-from-Iron Man Spidey family, and as soon as Spider-Man walked through the door, Aunt May was shot through the chest. She's dying, and Spider-Man's running around like crazy to find out a way to stop it.
X-Men: After House of M wiped out most of the world's mutants, no more have been born since. But after years without a new mutant, a baby is born and is so powerful it fries cerebro, injuring Xavier. Now, Sinister and his team of Marauders (which includes Gambit), the Purifiers (an anti-mutant organization who killed many of the X-Men's students last year) and the X-Men all scramble to capture, kill or save the baby, until somebody else swoops in and beats all of them to the punch.
Secret Invasion: You know the Skrulls? The shape-shifting green aliens who have 8 side-ways chins? Well, it turns out one of them, disguised as Elektra, was running the Japanese underworld. And another, disguised as Black Bolt, was leading the Inhumans. With that, the question becomes just how many Skrulls are there pulling everyone's strings?
