I like playing with RPG games. The immersion and the story are the two things I look out for. When I am bored, I play RTS games...for a few rounds. Long term strategy games like the Total War series keep my attention. I can play that for hours when I have the time to do so.

My very first game was Super Mario Bros on the family computer. I remember how fun it was. I jump when the characters jump...thinking that me jumping will make the character jump higher. I was so young then. I am not an avid Nintendo fan, but that game gave me hours of wonderful gaming memories.

For RPGs, I have learned the value of patience and thinking things through. Taking the time to carefully tread to a room presented to me. For Rhythm games, I have increased my reaction time and hand eye coordination. My fingers seem to move where I want to move them and exactly when.

If the parents are supervising them, and the games are not ruining their health or life...then I say let them play. One's definition of too much varies from one person to another. When the game becomes an addiction, then it is too much. Let the kids have fun with their games.
