    In-Game Purchases

Every so often I give into the freemium market. Whenever a game wants you to accumulate so and so points and offers for you to buy an "endless" play mode I give in. If the pricing is low enough, that is. I won't be a sap for a fifteen dollar endless play option in a game. If I have the option...

Do you think games are worth their current retail price?

I'm a bit of a cheapskate whenever it comes to everything but I respect the price of games now. Games are definitely worth their current retail price: they're a refined good that has taken years to produce. You enjoy them like you enjoy a lengthy read or a stupidly long-but-good movie. Game...

What are you playing these days?

I've been way lame recently when it comes to what I've been playing. I've played the Sims 3, a load of crappy Iphone games, and tetris friends up the wazoo. I need to get back into the groove of REAL games.

    Games You Are Bad At

I'm awful at RTS games, I'll admit it. Whenever I try to play Starcraft I fail utterly and hide the shame away in the Recycling Bin. I'll make RTS jokes when I'm with the banditos though to play it off. Whenever it comes to any other games I'm pretty well off.

    How many hours gaming?

On average I spend about 4-6 hours gaming each day whenever it's been a good week. I don't game as often as I should now though :). Back in the day I would cram out CoD hours in order to prestige often.

Has music changed very much with PC games

Music in video games is key. It sets the mood and if it's a surreal track it'll make a game even more memorable. Lovely Planet has a perfect soundtrack. I haven't played the game itself but I bought the soundtrack after hearing it on the radio. A song can make a game, so I agree that music has...

What's Your Opinion on Games Where You Farm Materials/Stuff?

Farming for resources is all part of the delay-gratification aspect of video games. The more you have to work for the endgame the better you feel afterwards. I personally like games you farm mindlessly during, you get to think about whatever you choose while you perform menial tasks. It gives...

What are you guys listening to right now?

I'm listening to a playlist of The Strokes, The Kooks, Artic Monkeys, Phoenix, and Ed Sheeran. Childish Gambino is somewhere in that playlist as well and it keeps me pepped up for late nights. Perfect playlist when it's time to cram for finals.

    Movies

The other day I watched Mr. Nobody for the first time and I CRIED. IT'S SUCH A GOOD MOVIE! Ah, the multiple love plots and transitions between each fork of plot. It's a perfect flim. I recommend you watch it if you're a human being.

Could you go 24 hours without a screen?

I certainly like the idea of going without a screen for an entire day. It would be a technology cleansing in a way. I know a guy who takes a technology Sabbath each Saturday. Apparently he feels more upbeat and alleviated of numerous stressors after it. I'll try one this weekend.

What do you do when you are bored?

Whenever I'm bored I either do one of two go-to things: I pull up social media and the internet and surf or I find a book and desire to do something productive. More often than not I choose choice one. It's so much easier and satisfying to pull up the internet. You feel at a subconscious...

What do you think of selfies?

I think selfies don't harm anyone and only help the person taking them. By permitting yourself to take a self you help your self-esteem. Of course some people take it too far and soak up their ego to the size of suns by doing this, but it's a thing worth promoting because of the potential good...

How much time do you spend on internet?

Internet addiction has been a horrible thing for me my entire life so I spend way too much time on the internet. I think I'm doing better now but I'm still putting out four hours roughly each day. Surfing and browing theweb can completely drain you perception of time. Earlier in my life I've...

If you could visit one country at no cost..

I would visit France without a doubt. The language, the people, and the cities are absolutely stunning! I have family that visit every so often and I want to save enough money up to visit with them. Also, France is in driving distance of everywhere else worth a visit in Europe. I'd choose that...

    Your Christmas Wishlist

All I want this Christmas is tuition money or money for books. Working and going to community college is THE GRRRINND man. Sometimes I wish I would've done the four year college plan and braced with student loans because of how rough it is to pay your way through community college. I'll make...

    Scary Games

I would like to play more scary games but the thing that gets me is I look up plot. Whenever I look up plot for a game, a bad habit I have for every form of media before I partake in it, I completely ruin the scare factor. The Fear series was a solid shooter. I highly recommend it.

Your top PC games of all time?

Spore and Star Wars Galaxies. I still have dreams of SWG I miss it so much. Star Wars Galaxies was my childhood and I'll never be able to go back to it. Ah, the memories. That game taught me how to handle multiple situations and how to have a party when you have nothing to say. Token game.

Do you like single player or multi player content better?

I prefer single player games. Campaigns have so much more meaning whenever single player is the main focus of a game. I see videos games as a piece of art, and from such art I expect to receive some moral being hit. It's the best that way. Single player games rock.

Have you ever hacked/cheated in a game?

I'm addicted to modding and cheating whenever it comes to games. I think I've learned to accept my addiction to modding because of how often I play computer games. It's just too easy! I know the purpose of working for the goods, but receiving the benefits of them feels so much better! I've used...
