I bought it to Play FF VII, but didn't manage to buy it until about a year after the game was released because... to paraphrase Queen, "I was a poor boy... no body loved me."

I used it in Contra, but there was another game that I can't remember. It wasn't Gradius but something similar.

My favorite villain is Samus Aran. I loved how she went and killed all hose helpless Metroids, then led that baby Metroid up to help kill its mother. ... and why no love for Dr. Wiley from Mega Man, or Tron Bonne from Mega Man Legends?

The only bad thing about the original Gameboy at the time, was that they made it a character on Captain N. Seriously... It's still better than those cheap handheld stand alone games that they tried to shill at the time... the ones with the little black digital renderings.

The games were much simpler back then, so they didn't need fifty different patches just to make them work. There were a few useful bugs. I still remember the left peninsula of power in the original Final Fantasy. Enemies you wouldn't usually see till much closer to the end of the game popped...

I keep holding out in vain hope that someday... Nintendo will revive this series. There was so much that they could have done with it! Just look at what they did for Mega Man when get got his various anime series.... then look at what they did to him on Captain N. Mega-bummer.

I actually liked the old Midi Music in some games... it drove me nuts in other games, though. The Super Mario Bros. theme was good to me, so was the themes in the Final Fantasy games.

I liked Phantasy Star II and IV, Shadowrun, and the Sonic the Hedgehog Games. Later genesis versions had me enjoying the Lunar the Silver Star Story.

The first one that I enjoyed was the original Super Mario Bros. However, the first Final Fantasy game overtook that one.

Legend of Dragoon Comes to Mind. Azure Dreams was another one. There may have been repackaged remakes of those games, I can't recall. However, there have been no true sequels that I am aware of.

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time... that was the game to get back in the day. I also played the Super Mario Bros. Game that came with mine. Ah, those were the days.

I'm nostalgic over simutronics games like Dragonrealms... yes, Text-based games with little to no graphics did and still do exist. For PC games with Graphics... Fallout 2, and some of the Baldur's Gate stuff.

It depends on the visual style. I play a lot of old games and enjoy them. I've played new games with amazing graphics but did not really like the overall art direction and it ruined it for me. I loved Skyrim, for instance. Yet, after playing through the first time I got a lot of mods for the...

At this point I think I'll just eat out this year. Thanksgiving is great a lot of the time, but this year bad timing has killed a lot of interest. I'll be thankful to just get paid before the day so I can eat somewhere nice. lol.
