Based on what you said, you will LOVE Fallout New Vegas. The map is pretty big, and the stories are everywhere. I know you said that you pretty much abandoned the plot in 3, but in New Vegas, there are a total of 4 different factions that all have slightly different stories to go with them...

The only game I can think of that falls under this category would be Destiny. On that note though, I wouldn't call Destiny a "good" RPG. It's more of a FPS with a few RPG elements thrown in to change things up.
