I have a pretty good relationship with my boss. It's pretty comfortable because there are only two of us in the research department. I can literally say she is the best supervisor I have ever had because she is very supportive and allows me to work through work problems with critical thinking...
I used to be Android all the way until I got and iPhone and realized how much easier and how much more stable the operating system is for gaming and applications in general. Now, Android has much more in the applications store, but I prefer the stability and the extra dexterity controls.
I HAVE to use a to do list. I have some chronic pain disorders which cause a lot of brain fog and keeping notes and to do lists is the only way I can keep my life straight. I have notebooks and electronic notes and all kins of things going on.
I play 2048 like a crack addict, except I play the version you can get mPoints on. I can get my mindless gameplay in and points toward gift cards at the same time.
I'm just a casual gamer now. I used to spend a lot more time gaming when I was younger. However, I find it hard to game, parent, work, and keep up with my therapy and medication and housework. Ugh... who let me adult... I can't adult.
I am not seeing a shortage of kids getting their gaming fix. Considering that having the coolest new gadget is still taking priority over food and cars and proper housing, gaming companies are still making a killing off of our entitled consumerism. They got us... Hook..line... sinker
I plays Clash of Clans for about a week and got bored... uninstalled... tried again... unintalled a week later. I just get to a point where it doesn't go anywhere and I'm like NOOOOOOOOO.
I get addicted to stupid little puzzle games. They are so simple in graphics and everything else, but I love the challenge of them. I was that kid in high school that has Tetris on her TI-81 calculator. Yeah, I'm that kind of nerd.
Oh gosh! My first video game memories would have to be Mario Brothers and Duck hunt. I had seen video game consoles before that, but I did not really get to play them until I moved in with my cousins and they had a nintendo. My cousins would get mad because I was so good at mario and I was just...
I personally love games that are meant to help with cognitive abilities because I have some conditions that cause a lot of pain, which can affect cognitive function and short term memory. I tend to play the cognitive conditioning game to help myself stay more alert. I'm all for games that help...
Honestly, many of us grew up with these games being a hobby or a great fun past time. It's such an ingrained part of our culture, I don't see how anyone can say someone is too old to sit down and enjoy a good gaming session. Honestly, I think if parents would sit down and play some games with...
I would totally yank out that Monopoly game and start showing my daughter how the west was won.... or developed at least. She's been wanting to play, but I'm afraid out crazy dog will eat the hotels.
