Disney Interactive Studios announced the release of Wizards of Waverly Place: Spellbound for Nintendo DS. This new video game, which is inspired by the hit Disney Channel TV series, “Wizards of Waverly Place,” takes players on a magical adventure through five exciting episodes full of mystery and wild new spells.
In Wizards of Waverly Place: Spellbound, Alex enters a fashion contest but strange things start to happen – her dress mysteriously disappears and mannequins come to life. It is up to Alex and her brothers to fix things and find out who is behind all the mischief…with magic, of course!
Fans will unravel the mystery while learning to cast exciting news spells on objects and characters with the ability to move and freeze objects, travel at turbo speed, turn into a hamster and more.
Players will navigate through the story and interact with familiar characters and explore locations from the show, including Tribeca Prep, The Wizard Lair and The Sub Shop. In addition, fans can take on bonus wizard challenges and unlock cool new outfits.
Wizards of Waverly Place: Spellbound is Rated E for Everyone by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) and is available now at a suggested retail price of $29.99.
