Hyping up the release of the next installment of the [i]Metroid[/i] series, [i]Metroid Prime 3 Corruption[/i], Nintendo revealed that the original NES [i]Metroid[/i] will be available on the Wii’s Virtual Console on August 13th for 500 Wii Points. On week later, on August 20th, [i]Super Metroid[/i] (SNES) will be ready to download on the Virtual Console for 800 Wii Points.
You might have also noticed that your Wii was glowing blue again. In a Wii letter from Nintendo, you can download preview videos of [i]Corruption[/i] in the Wii Ware section of the Wii’s on-line shope. It is about time Nintendo starting doing things like this. This preview is available for free.
