THQ has won the publishing rights to [i]Juiced[/i], a highly anticipated racing title that was formally the property of Acclaim Entertainment. Acclaim recently filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy over a month ago and was forced to sell off their titles in development.
“We are very excited to have secure the rights to this strategic, highly sought after intellectual property,” said Jack Sorensen, Executive Vice President of THQ. “The team is off to a great start and now has the time to build [i]Juiced[/i] into one of the premier brands in street racing.”
THQ plans to release [i]Juiced[/i] next summer for the PlayStation2, Xbox, and PC.
