Konami’s press event has announced three brand new games for the
Playstation 3 today. Their names: Metal Gear Solid 4 Metal Gear Solid
3: Subsistence and Metal Gear Acid 2.
Metal Gear Solid 4 was said to be in a futuristic world that takes
place after Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. The game will feature
the main characters of the series, which include Solid Snake, Otacon,
Ocelot, and Meryl. It will also feature an online battle mode.
The next game, Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence, will be a compilation
of Metal Gear Solid 3 and the original MSX games, Metal Gear and Metal
Gear 2: Solid Snake. This will also be online with 8 person
multiplayer.
The last game is Metal Gear Solid Acid 2, and will be a sequel to the
original card wielding game, Metal Gear Acid. Although not announced
for the PSP, it was announced for the PS3.
