Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Gets Updated – Witcher 2 Is Also Currently Free

Microsoft just announced some exciting updates to the Xbox One to Xbox 360 backwards compatibility program.  Besides adding several more titles to the backwards compatibility list, new games are going to be added regularly as soon as availability is confirmed.  Before, Microsoft was pushing these backward compatible games in one big batch on a monthly basis but now we should be getting availability to more games sooner.

witcher-2-teaser-bild-1419346828Every since the backwards compatibility featured became avaialble, Microsoft declared that gamers have spent more than 21 million hours playing 360 games on Xbox One. To celebrate, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is available as a free download now through February 5, 2016.
