Wii browser free until July 2007

Opera Software, makers of the Nintendo DS’s browser, has confirmed that its internet browser for the Ninetndo Wii will be free to users until the end of June 2007.

After July, users will be required to buy Opera using Wii points (similar to the Microsoft point system) and no price point has been set. Opera will be customized to the Wii and its controller and will feature aspects of the Opera 9 desktop browser and support Flash and AJAX based material.

The desktop browser is available for free PC download at the Official Opera Homepage. For all your Wii details, stay at MyGamer.com
