EA recently announced the signing of Tiger Woods to a deal that would allow Electronic Arts to use Woods?s name and likeness in the company?s highly popular golfing games for the next six years. Tiger Woods PGA Tour constantly outsells its competitors like Global Star?s Outlaw Golf and SCEA?s Hot Shots Golf, and this move all but guarantees EA will stay on top of the golfing market. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06 also marked the franchise?s first trip onto next generation consoles with the release of PGA Tour 06 on the Xbox 360. A release date for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 has not yet been set.
