They Still Ain’t Afraid

For the first time in over 20 years, Dan Ackroyd, Harold Ramis and Bill Murray will reprise their roles as Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz and Egon Spengler in the new Ghostbusters: The Video Game.

Written by the famed actor/comedian himself, Ackroyd promised the game would "capture the spirit" of the original 1980's films. And how could you relive the thrill of the films without the original “Who You Gonna Call” theme by Ray Parker Jr.

The year is 1991, but it's the same ghost-ridden Manhattan from the movies. Only this time, the Ghostbusters are running a more successful business, which means they have new tools to wreck wraiths and paralyze poltergeists.

These characters are now older, more experienced, perhaps a little more jaded,” Ackroyd said. “More tough, with maybe not as compassionate a view of the spirits that they used to have.”

Ghostbusters: The Video Game is schedualed for release next year for all three systems.
