The 360 Crashes… Literally

It’s only days after the XBox 360 launch, but already stories of crashes and the Black Screen of Death are cropping up across the Internet. On sites like XBox-Scene.com, users are posting stories of crashes during gameplay and on start up, hard drive failures, and other problems.

Microsoft has been offering their toll-free troubleshooting service (1-800-4MY-XBOX), and claims they will repair or replace any defective units. One problem already has a reported low-tech fix — simply moving the power supply a few inches off the ground has supposedly helped some gamers.
