Your Favorite Hero in Lego Form LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures takes the fun and creative construction of LEGO and combines it with the wits, daring and non-stop action from the original cinematic adventures that enthralled audiences everywhere (Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade). With a unique tongue-in-cheek take on the original adventures, LEGO Indiana Jones follows Dr. Jones escapades through the jungles of South America to the mountaintops of India. Fans can build, battle and brawl their way through their favorite cinematic moments, from Indy’s entanglements with snakes to his dashing boulder run. Of course, pop culture’s most iconic archaeologist will whip through all the classic moments with the help of a host of supporting characters including Marion Ravenwood and Short Round. Players can also mix and match the body parts of more than 60 playable characters to create new heroes just as they could in the best-selling LEGO Star Wars games. | Key Features

Lego Indy is Awesome! July 3, 2008 I bought this for my husband as a gift. Although he is in his mid 30's he enjoys this game immensely. He has played the entire game in story mode and is now playing the entire game in free play mode in order to find all of the hidden artifacts and parcels to complete the game 100%. He says (and I quote), "Lego's plus Indiana Jones equals Awesome!" The graphics and game play are equally great, according to him. Although there is no actual dialog, you still get the whole story, beginning to end, from The Lost Ark all the way to The Last Crusade. If you are an Indiana Jones fan, you will greatly enjoy how each story unfolds through the eyes of Lego's. The movie sequences before, during and after the actual game play help tell the story in a Lego kind of way. (He also likes the fact that this game occasionally cameos some highly recognizable and loved Star Wars characters.) He has played Lego Star Wars and is looking forward to Lego Batman and thinks that game will be just as great as Lego Indiana Jones. Because, as he says, "Let's face it, Lego's at any age are AWESOME!"
a 5 star game for parents and kids July 2, 2008 My 8 yr old daughter is a big Indy fan and this game didn't disappoint with great play and great humor. You will need to use your collective brains to get thru some of the levels. If you liked the Lego Star Wars versions, this one won't disappoint.
action packed July 1, 2008 Be warned, this game is addicting!! It is full of excitement and challenges. The game follows the Indiana Jones trilogy exactly to the movie. There are many hidden items that you can find and also many diffent ways to unlock others. "Free play" is exciting as you can be any character, once you've unlocked them all, and get all the items you couldn't get in "story mode" Look carefully and you'll find other familiar characters Once I start to play, it's hard very hard to stop.
Some camra issues but overall fun June 30, 2008 This game is another step into the Lego world. If anyone has played the other Lego games than nothing has changed. This game has the same bad camra as the others, however now using the Indiana Jones movies it gives it a fresh new look. I do recomend this to and Lego fans or Indie fans.
Fun, but a little on the repetitive side of things. June 30, 2008 This is the first on the Lego series I have played, and I must say to begin with it was a blast. The game has you, Indiana Jones playing through the 3 original movies of this series. You are accompanied along the way by some familiar faces. The game has loads of sidekicks, around 60 I believe. The game has 18 missions, 6 in each of the episodes, I have nearly beaten Episode 1. The game is fun and a break from most, however, the combat and simple puzzles quickly become repetitive. That's not to say it isn't fun, it's just the same thing over and over. The achievements are okay I have netted 110 in 1/3 of the game roughly so I expect to finish with around 350 or so. So if you love this series or the Lego series then you should probably rent this game, not a buy, but worth renting for a weekend. You can beat this game in around 10 hours if not less. So all in all, this one was okay for a rent, but not worth buying in my opinion.
Overall 6.0-7.0
