My 17-year-old loves it! August 27, 2008 I bought this as a 17th birthday gift for my daughter. She finds Pump It Up to be superior to Dance Dance Revolution.
Much to our amazement, the dance pad controller works with DDR as well (on the X-Box). Though lacking a DDR dance pad, she had been given some DDR games and played them with the hand-held controllers up until now.
While the PIU is a far superior product, the popularity of DDR means there are more titles available, so my daughter gets the best of both worlds using the PIU dance pad for the intended software as well as the competitor!
Pump it up keeps you exercising August 13, 2008 This game is great. I wish it had more "recent" music, but it really is something my girls love to do
Great Game! February 12, 2008 We play this at the arcade also, but this game is lots of fun for kids of all ages!
Just Wut I Need May 12, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I happy to have, cuz most of the games are just pressing buttoms but this one is really usefull i spend a lot of time dancing with the songs, i thinks im losing weight lol but thats another thing, im happy with my dance pad, y really recomend this product for ur sons or even 4 u, u wont regret buying it (y)
Loads of FUN! January 16, 2007 We have young people in the house ranging in age from 18months to 20ys and absolutely EVERYONE has fun with this game! The best part of it is that I get a bit of guilt relief watching them do something active rather than sitting on the couch pushing buttons. It's great to see my 10yr old step child play with my 18yr old son when she visits with Daddy on the weekend. This game and the Nintindo WII are the only things that seem to give them common ground enough to interact. My 18 month old gets so excited watching everyone dancing that it's never long before she is running round the room in hysterics. It's a BLAST and we would highly recommend it.
