My son thinks this is a good alternative if you have trouble with the remote otherwise stick with the remote.

this gun works well and easier to aim with. the only bad side to it is that you have to take out the strap from the wii control to put it into the gun.

This gun is awesome. Easy to hold and no cords. The only problem is that it's a little difficult to get the Wii controller to click in there.
