Zeldia Twilight Princess is so much fun. THeir is villance and action and the graphics are great. The only thing I didn't like is that the characters don't talk so you have to read every thing they say. I think this game is worth the money it is very scary I would highly recomned this game for it is super fun.

5 out of 5 stars Zelda's Twilight Princess Goes Back to Basics   November 11, 2007

The Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess captures all the excitement and fun of the original Zelda series. Finally, we see Link again in his original heroic form again and not as a whiney tot anymore. The Hero of Time doesn't disappoint.

4 out of 5 stars Good. But not great.   October 25, 2007

I've been a fan of Zelda for many years. So far I've played the following.

Zelda I.
Zelday II.
Ocarnia Of Time.
Majoras Mask.
Windwaker
Twilight Princess.

I've LOVED playing every game, aside from this one. This game just doesn't do it for me like previous releases. Each Zelda release is different in its own right. And this release is no different. There are some pretty neat concepts with this game. But suprisingly none of them are all that fun. One thing I loved about the previous releases was the world design. Each area was different and full of life. This release seems more generic. Everything seems dark and drab, even outside the twilight. It's way to much like the real world. There is a vast expanse of a world their, but their are only slight differences between areas, aside from the desert, and snow worlds.

Take Zoras domain for instance. Pretty much the only difference between this and other domains is water. A small pond here, a lake there. Pretty much nothing "Magical" at all. The only fun part was floating down the huge river. The Gorons domain was typical, but not as threatning, and nothing special. The Sacred forest was just a forest. You live in some farmer village, the charicters are very close to real life charicters you might find. Nothing special.

Being a wolf is fairly fun depending on where you are. But gets quite old. One thing I really do not like is the inability to call epona from anywhere you like. You have to pick some weed and hum a little tune with it. So your limited to doing so to wherever the weeds are. You are constantly running around without your steed.

Pretty much the entire game just seems drab. Even saving your game, a tune plays that is remanicent of a Silent Hill soundtrack. Which depresses you all around.

I can't say I'm completely disapointed with this release. But I can't say I'm happy with it either. Ocarnia of Time was revolutionary. Its world was absolutely amazing, and every feature of that game rocked. Majoras mask wasn't quite as good, but still had an interesting world and story plot, great enemies to fight. Honestly I can't really remember one enemy I've fought so far that was memorable in this game. Majoras mask also had great features, like changing into the different domain charicters. Windwaker, which a lot of people hated. And I did to at first, but it was a completely new take, with a world that was huge. Introducing islands to the mix, and I have to say, that was one of my favorite releases as well. You had to save your sister, what's not to fight for there?

In this release your fighting for a group of mostly bratty kids. There really isn't anything special about them. And to rid the world of this twighlight zone/monsters. Once you beat the twilight out of the area it really doesn't look any different then it did before.

I have yet to beat this game, I'm still trudging my way through it But I'm about 2/3rds done with it, and not impressed as far as Zelda releases go.

4 out of 5 stars Excellent Work   October 17, 2007
The developers took a lot of time and resources to make this game. It's excellent work. Even so, a lot of the material is borrowed from OoT other iterations. It takes away from the originality. I think the forest should be much more expanded and explorable. It seems very isolated to me, and very predictable where you CAN go. Also, the Kokiri didn't make any kind of cameo appearance from OoT. I was hoping to see a little of that.

5 out of 5 stars Gimme more   October 12, 2007

I only started playing Zelda when Ocarina of Time came out. I am waiting for the day that they release all the old games for Nintendo on a modern system. Ocarina of time opened my eyes to this wonderful game. I was a bit disappointed by The wind waker. I read good reviews on twilight princess so I bought it... WOW! By far the best video game I have ever played. The story line is great, its really hard, and the side games are out of this world. Everything from snow boarding down Snow Peak mountain, to relaxing fishing. This game is brilliantly thought out and really is a good brain exercise. This is a definate buy for Zelda lovers. I just finished the game yesterday after 110 hours of playing time. Im looking into buying a Nintendo DS to get the hour glass Zelda because this game has started a new obsession.
