It was super fun until after you get Mewtwo. Then, it started to be the same thing over and over again.

1 out of 5 stars Good idea, but really bad game   December 29, 2006

I bought this game with high expectations(it's a Pokemon game, after all). This game is horrible. I thought this game would be a traditional Pokemon game. It isn't. Heck, it isn't even developed by Nintendo, rather by "Chun Soft", a Japanese company without an English website. Don't waste your money on this crap.

5 out of 5 stars The best Pokemon game!   December 28, 2006

This game is the best in the Pokemon Series.

First of all, you play as a Pokemon. (If anyone is intrested I ended up as Cyndaquil. I chose Totodile to be my partner.) The Pokemon that I ended up as really did match my personality.

Anyway, at the beginning there is a lot of dialog. After that, you really start the game. Every time, you should check the mailbox for new missions. After that, you call the menu up and chose a mission. Then you go on a path and go to the location.

Almost everything in this game is random. It's a good thing, because that means that every time you play it will be different. Once you complete the main part of the game and watch the credits roll, you appear in your house. You will never run out of missions.

Overall, I rate this game very highly, because it will last as long as you want. Believe me, you'll be kicking yourself if you don't buy it.

5 out of 5 stars Pokemon Dungeon Games   December 9, 2006

Pokemon Dungeon Red and Blue are so much fun! Sure it takes a lot of time to beat, but it's worth it.
The main story line starts by having you take a personality quiz to determine what pokemon you play as. Then you choose a partner and name him/her. Next you wake up in the woods, and you talk to your partner and tell him/her your name. Then Butterfree comes and asks you to save her Caterpie. After that you get berries as a reward from Butterfree. Your partner leads you to the rescue team base and asks you if you want to be in a rescue team. You name your rescue team, and that's the beginning of the story.
