4 out of 5 stars very small screen but handy size to carry   July 10, 2007

Not as good as the DS Lite, but handy size for the many GBA games I have. I like that you can adjust the brightness. Easy to carry in pocket. I wish it came with a black faceplate.

5 out of 5 stars Get it now before they're gone.   April 3, 2007

This is truly a portable game system. So small that it will fit IN your hand, the GBMicro is worth the money, especially now that it's price has gone down. It is comfortable, the buttons have this great "mushy-ness" to them when pressed, the screen is ultra-sharp and BRIGHT. Bright as a DS lite. The battery life in phenomenal and only takes about an hour to an hour and a half to charge. The Start and Select buttons light up blue at start up to show the Micro still has a good charge, then turn red when charging is needed. People have complained that the Micro does not feature backwards-compatibility with Game Boy and Game Boy Color games, but having those larger carts sticking out of your tiny Micro would kind of defeat it's purpose, no? I absoulutely love this thing, it is always in my pocket. While the DS lite is the king right now, the GBmicro is perfect for everyone, hardcore and casual gamers, you will find that it is deffinitely more travel-friendly. I highly recommend it. To collectors, GET ONE NOW!!!

5 out of 5 stars What can I say? It's a tiny gameboy!   March 9, 2007

I absolutely love my Gameboy Micro, mainly because it's the size of a cell phone, so it fits nicely in my pocket. The battery life, at least when new, is astonishingly long, its shape fits my hands nicely, and it has a noticably durable feel to it. I have all of the Final Fantasy titles for GBA, so I get hours of play out of my micro between classes at school, and stash it comfortably in my pocket why listening to the droning lectures. If your sick of lugging around your akwardly shaped GBA or your hulkingly huge DS, but still wanna play those games and don't mind squinting a bit to catch all the detail, then Gameboy Micro is certainly for you. You had best act fast though, because I'm not sure they are still in production.

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic for kids of all ages!   March 8, 2007

My son is 3 and he loves to play games on this system. The screen is not so small that you lose clarity. It's really a great little gameboy and I'll admit that I love to play it too! So much that we bought 2 of them so we all had a chance! It's definitely recommended - and for this price - you can't go wrong!

5 out of 5 stars September 20th, 2005. God said, "let there be Game Boy Micro" And it was good.   February 21, 2007

All I own is GBA games (no GB or GBC games anymore) As well as many other consoles both portable and non (including PSP) And for what it's worth this is a good purchase. I am completely happy with the GBM. And seeing as the majority of games for GBA that I own are RPGs I can attest to the fact that the screen is small but very much readable. Currently playing Final Fantasy VI on it. Very cool...

Pros:
Crisp display
Ultra small
Good button layout
Regular headphone jack.

Cons:
none.....
