  Ok....But.... March 9, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I like this little thing. It's cool. It's comfortable. It holds three Gameboy Advance games that you can switch with....but I give it 3 Stars because it cannot hold Gameboy and Gameboy Color games. Still, it's a good buy.
nice! July 12, 2005 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I am pretty pleased overall with this gadget. I am crazy about the GBA SP as it is, but being an adult gamer, I found that my hands would cramp a bit after extended gaming sessions with my SP. So, on that note, this gadget solves that problem by adding a bit of bulk to hang on to. The main function, i.e. the 3-game switch function, is pretty nice, though honestly I'm not so lazy as to find it difficult to switch games when necessary without this thing. I would like it better if the #2 game cartridge tucked in like the other two do, but thats a minor complaint. A couple of moderate complaints I have are as follows: 1. Does not allow play of Game Boy Color or Game Boy Classic games, as the GBA SP does on its own. 2. The power switch does not work great, as it often does not "catch" on the SP power switch underneath, and you don't want to just take the device off with the power still on, or it could potentially corrupt your saves in whatever games you have in. Thats a big problem. I wish the designers would have just left a gap where the power switch of the SP is, as they did for the volume slider. 3. DO NOT remove ANY of the games once the power is on, even if its not the game you have it currently switched to, IT WILL still glitch out the game you ARE playing, and potentially corrupt your saves. Believe me. 4. It is not particularly pleasant looking, and does not have the same elegant aesthetic that the Nintendo designers gave the GBA SP. Thats a minor complaint, however. I use the GBA SP "Classic NES" edition, and surprisingly, the color of this gadget almost matches the darker color on my SP. Overall, I would recommend this device if you are still really into your GBA SP, and especially if you a gamer with Donkey Kong hands, or you are particularly lazy, or if you only own 3 games. Especially now, you can get this thing BRAND NEW from someone on amazon for under $5. It's definitely worth a try at that price.
power swith don't work January 16, 2005 4 out of 11 found this review helpful
Opened the package. Slid the sp into place. Inserted 3 games. Flipped the power switch, and NOTHING. The little piece of rubber they use to SUPPOSEDLY let the power switch contact and move the original switch does not work. The rubber is too thin. can't turn on the game and then slide on the changer. [...]
