You Don't Want to Put it Down!! March 9, 2006 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I had this game when I was in 6th grade (I'm in 10th now). It got stolen, but the point is that it was very fun, so much fun I didn't ever want to stop! I mean, I took it to school, and played it in class (never got caught...heh heh!). That's how, unfortunately, it got stolen.
I like how this game was. In fact, it was a lot better than Super Mario 3, because of newer enemies, the introduction of Yoshi, new levels, and secret courses you can unlock!!
If I had this game still today, heh, I wouldn't even be writing this review right now!!
(By the way, I gave it 4 Stars because it got hard at times, but, all-in-all, a great Super Mario classic!!!!)
Jump, Yell, and get angry! February 16, 2006 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
This game (from a kids review) is what is called "Old School", and it is. This game was made way back when with SNES, and now is put on the gameboy advanced SP. I thought in the start it was the best old mario game. NOw i';ve really gotten into it, and now i'm stuck! I can't go any further. This game was fun. I jumped when i finished a world, i yelled in joy, and now I'm angry. maybe i'll find a way to get out.
I really recomend this game even though you might get stuck like me!
:)
tied for my favorite mario games maybe one of my favorite games December 26, 2005 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
This game is just as good as Mario 64. It takes forever to find every seceret and do everything you can possibly do on it. It took me about a year to beat every possible level in every possible way and then I went back and got every dragon coin. there is 90 someting exits to levels and It was a blast finding all of them. I only cheated once. Dont by any other mario advanced games unless you have this one. The newest one is very short.
The 2nd best game ever! November 18, 2005 3 out of 6 found this review helpful
Nintendo has come a long way over the years and they've never come out with anything better than this (I'm talking about the SNES version, I've barely played the Advance version). It's kind of pathetic of them, this game came out in 1993 and now, 12 years later, they still don't have any games better than this. My brother is a video games master, he beat this whole game, got to special world and beat that (I'm not talking about star world, I'm talking about special world) and he did all of this without a strategy guide or anything. He just put it in and figured everything out. There are still one or two levels that he doesn't know how to get to, but he has beaten Bowser and everything. I've beaten a lot of the game with his help in telling me what to do. Anyway this game is amazing and I recomend going to ebay, finding an old Super Nintendo and this game and buying them. It's worth it. (By the way if you saw that I said this was the second best game ever, I think the first one is Starcraft).
Its Okay November 1, 2005 2 out of 7 found this review helpful
I wouldn't say that Super Mario World is the best, but its okay. When you can't beat a level though,it gets kind of boring after trying for a very long time. And sometimes the music is so irritating.
