Amazing device which stays in place, better than the suction mount. It can be placed in so many more positions which are much more convenient to
use than the suction mount. LOVE IT!!!!

I bought it with my GPS nuvi 350. It is pretty convenient, especially when I want to use it on another car.
A good option for Garmin users August 17, 2008
With the slant of my windshield I had trouble attaching and detaching the suction holder for the Garmin while keeping it low and without interfering with my ability to see the road. This friction dashboard mount sits directly on the dashboard, out of the sight line of the road, is heavy enough to be stable and has "sticky" feet so it doesn't slide out of place. And it is easily removed and stored when not being used. Excellent accessory for the Garmin.

I am extremely pleased with the dashboard mount. It is sturdy and doesn't move at all. It brings the GPS closer to you and does not block the windshield.

Garmin Portable Friction Dashboard Mount for Nuevi Series and StreetPilot C5XX Series GPS Navigators (C530, C550 and C580)
Works great. I can remove it easily or move it to a different location. The dashboard glue mount or the window suction that comes with the Garmin GPS does not work. Heat losens the glue and the rubber glass mount does not hold in hot cars.
Product was worth the price.
