1 out of 5 stars Comfort = +1 star, utterly horrible sound = -5 stars   September 10, 2008
Sorry, but these headphones are junk. They have about as much base as a worn out pellet gun. They're comfy and stay on well while running, but you would honestly get better sound from a pair of speakers plugged into your ipod and strapped to your waist. Thin, tinny sound, just awful.

5 out of 5 stars OUTSTANDING PRODUCT!   July 3, 2008
I just received this product and tried it out on my daily run and was very impressed. The earpieces are adjustable so they fit great and since they are over the ear they don't fall out like my $80 Bose ones do, yet they sound almost as good! They come with a little clip to keep the cord in place and they also have a silicone case to keep them in. When I bought them a week or so ago I paid $45, now they are $29, well worth the price!

1 out of 5 stars disappointed   May 23, 2008
initially these headphones worked pretty good. the sound was good and they fit well. the problem was they stopped working after a month. they were also missing the carrying pouch.

3 out of 5 stars Comfy but low in bass response   May 15, 2008
Like it was already mentioned in other reviews these headphones are very comfortable as they sit outside of the ear canal so that you can wear them for hours during strenuous physical activities (like running in the gym or whatever) with no pain or any discomfort. However, these headphones leave much more to be desired when it comes to bass response - little or no bass can be heard depending on how far you jam them into your ear canal. So if your MP3 player does not have a 'bass booster' feature I would continue looking - I've had much more bass on flimsy $20 Sony Walkman headphones (although they broke a few month into gym routine). Otherwise, these headphones feel like they are going to last for a while, definitely are comfortable and provide reasonably good sound (unless you work out in an extremely noisy environment).

2 out of 5 stars Good for sports, maybe, but not music   April 28, 2008
The green color is very cute. The plastic carrying case is convenient. They don't fall off, and they clean up nicely.

I'm afraid that's all the nice things I can say.

While they don't fall off, they don't stay in place either. They slip away from my ear canals, with the obvious terrible effect on the sound. Everything else I'll say is assuming that they are in the proper position!

These are the least sensitive 'phones I've ever used. In all too many situations I have to turn my iPod all the way up, which yields an ear-shattering volume with all the other 'phones I've used.

The sound (as others have noted) is almost completely lacking in bass. Perhaps the midrange-heavy balance is meant to keep speech intelligible over the noise of exercise -- that actually works out pretty well. They are adequate for spoken-word podcasts when you're exercising, but there's no point in using them for music under any circumstances.

Koss KSC75's cost half as much, look twice as silly, sound at least 10 times better, and stay where you put them.
