I purchased the Kindle for my husband because I was tired of asking him to put all of his books away (he's always reading at least 4-6 books at once and they were lying around everywhere). He still has one or two books lying in the living room, but the house is much tidier since the Kindle entered the picture. He fell in love right away and has already downloaded several books, including the bible, and he carries it with him everywhere. This is a wonderful product. The initial setup took a little effort, but now that his account information is straight, it's very easy to use. Books download fast and the service is free. The books are much cheaper than their paper versions (half the cost or less). The books he reads are often expensive, so the Kindle will soon pay for itself. There's a huge variety of books to choose from. The text is super clear and the buttons are well placed. This is a terrific gift for someone who reads a lot. There were a few books that he wanted that were not offered for the Kindle, but he found free PDF copies of the books on the internet, and Amazon took the PDF files and converted them for his Kindle for .10 cents each. Also, if he loses his Kindle or accidentally deletes a book, he can just go to Amazon and download it again for free. What a terrific service! I would recommend the Kindle to anyone who loves reading. I want one for myself now.

I love gadgets and have lots of them, but the Kindle is transcendent. I just got mine, plugged it in and promptly sat up until 4 a.m. playing with it, buying books and reading. This will change my life, save me money and allow me to indulge my reading obsession without books piling up all over my house. I'm just sorry I waited so long to get one.

I love my kindle. I am a avid reader and the ability to take multiple books with me when I travel without the weight or the bulk is AMAZING!! Plus, you can just purchase another book if you run out of reading material (or a newspaper, magazine, etc.). It is so much fun!!!

The Kindle is amazing. Very easy to use and very convenient for storing numerous amounts of books. It was a gift for my boyfriend and he is just in love with it. Good product and a good price for what you are getting.

I am very happy with my kindle. It has done the job of rekindling my reading passion. I really enjoy the ability to review books before I buy them. The selection is very good. I do not like the position of the turn page buttons. I have a tendency of hitting the turn page button at the wrong time. Would I buy one again? You betcha! MKH
