Sporty, but not for running. August 12, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have had these headphones for a few years now, and purchased them with running in mind. They are comfy and great if you're sitting/walking around and want something that fits securely on/around your ear and won't pull off should the cord accidentally snag; BUT,...they are horrible when it comes to exercising. They do not stay in the ear with the up and down motion of running, and I have found them to be more of a hindrance/nuisance (having to continuously tuck them around the ear and back into place). The bud is a bit too big for my ear, and the clips are also too large...wish they came with various sizes, or the clips were able to be bent so I could form them better around my ear.
Tried Koss for 4.5 months of disappointment August 7, 2008 I've used several different over-the-ear headphones over the years. This time, I thought I'd give Koss a try (I used to have Sony). They rarely stayed in my ear - there were runs where I had to put it back in every few minutes, something that rarely happened with Sony. The worst though is that after 4.5 months of regular use, the right ear no longer works. I'm going back to Sony.
Koss Sportclip headphones July 27, 2008 Sound quality is excellent. I have some problems keeping the bud set into my ear while exercising. Probably just me.
My ONLY workout headphones! June 30, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I run a lot and am a small person so have small ears and head and have a hard time finding headphones that don't fall off or fall out of my ears when I'm sweaty and bouncing down the road. These headphones have great sound (I like my music loud and I also like to listen to talk radio, both are clear) and they are very easy to adjust to hold tight to my ear without hurting and without sliding around and loosening up. I have tried headphones in the $40 range when I couldn't find these in the store and have returned them. I found them again online and now buy them 4 at a time! That's 4 pairs I like for the price of 1 that I don't! (I go through the fairly fast from running in the rain and sweating so much, then eventually short out)
A great simple pair of headphones for running. June 25, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I was having trouble finding a pair of headphones that stayed in/on my ears when I ran. The Ipod headphones were definitely a no go and I invested in a pair of Sony that fell right off despite their sporty claim. My Mother had these and I sat down and ordered my own pair that same night after running with them once. The sound quality is decent for the price and they stay put. I usually run 3 miles 3 times a week and I have had them for about a year now. I haven't had a single problem. If you are a stickler for sound quality, these might not be the best bet, but if you're using them for running/an on the fly pair, it's not a bad investment.
