I ordered the pink ds lite with free super saver shipping and it arrived 3 days earlier than the estimated date. I'm not too crazy about the clear shiny plastic on the front and back while the hinge area is matte pink (it made it look like a different tone of pink at first, but I got use to it). The console fits perfectly in my small hands and is much lighter to hold up than the original ds... placement of on/off button, start/select is also very nice.
overall a good transaction from amazon, now just waiting and hoping my hinge won't break like everyone else :) .

My girlfriend bought me my ds lite for my 25th birthday. I love it. There are lots of games and it is fun to play. I carry it with me everywhere so I am never bored. I bought my girlfriend one for her birthday so we both play together.
The only negative thing i have to say about it is that I am a lefty. So for games like Call of duty 4, Metroid Prime Hunters, ect I have to use the a, b, x, and y buttons as the directional buttons. I do not like this because you can't slide your thumb from button to button like you can with the d-pad. So my only wish is that they made a lefty ds lite.

My son loves it. This is his second one because he pretty much wore out the first one. Lots of great games for the system (my son's pretty picky about games). And now I have a wireless router the ds picked it right up now my son can play with different people from all over.
As Expected - Nintendo DS Lite September 21, 2008
We already had one Nintendo DS that three of us were having to share. We thought it was time to get a second one. So far, so good. My only comment is that the shiny, metallic outside shows fingerprints and scratches clearly! But as for game playing - it's a great handheld, easy to take along, lots of great games to choose from ..... two thumbs up.
