Good camera good audio September 7, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is the second camera we bought after a very successful test of the first camera. Both worked very well with Skype and H.323 standard VOIP. I would have liked voice tracking rather than just face tracking but it was acceptable for this level of technology.
We love it! August 31, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We live overseas and it's very hard on us and our family back home because we only get to visit once a year. I bought this Quick Cam to use with the online web site that we had just joined for video calling via the computer with friends and family. It's a great product. The picture and sound are very clear. It was very easy to set up and begin using. My 8 year old thinks it's great and loves using it. It's nice because it follows you when you move so when we are communicating with someone via the web they don't lose sight of you. I would definitely recommend this product, especially to those in the same situation as we are.
excellent and easy August 29, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Got this camera to use with SKYPE 4 ("hi-res") video conferencing.
It worked extremely well. Used a projector for display at the end of a long conference table (at two sites) and the effect was that our table had "extended" into the screen.
The microphone was surprisingly sensitive as well; picked up voices around the table clearly and avoided feedback (echoing).
For the price, quality, and ease of use, I easily recommend this camera

Great little camera especially the ability to pan both vertically and horizontally. Only problem was in the software, the setting to turn the camera LED off was missing. According to Tech Support this control setting is available in a later version of the software but you must completely remove the previous version before installing the new version to get it to work properly.
ok but August 27, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
picture was good when i got it but now it seems always out of focus even though the lens is clean. software is terrible and heavy.
