2 out of 5 stars Not as strong as it seems   October 31, 2008

At first I thought that this was a great product, I've had other kingston's in the past and this continued the trend. I'm not a fan of Sandisk so I thought I'd give another retractable a try, especially since this one has such high reviews.

Worked great for about 3 weeks, but then it started to slow down on transfer rates, not impressive in the first place. I'm rough on electronics, and unfortunately the plastic didn't hold up. On campus, people bump into computers all the time and one time was enough to break the plastic on this. It only worked for one day after that and is now useless.

So over-all I can't say I'm impressed.

4 out of 5 stars Nice   October 25, 2008
This is a really good flash drive. IT has plenty of space on it, works reasonably quickly, and the retractible head feature is nice. My only complaint is that actually retracting the head is a little clumsy - I wish it has easier to push it out.

4 out of 5 stars Picture Backup   October 24, 2008
Worked as expected. The only thing I would have prefered a caped end because I worry about head movement braking a connection. Also with the connector retraced it is subjected to lint and dust. It is serving me well as of this day.

3 out of 5 stars Kingston Jump Drive   October 24, 2008
Aesthetically, the product has a real cheap feel to it. Being a USB2.0 plug-in I expected faster copying/reading rates. My older Memorex "high speed" jump drive is lightning quick compared to this. Other than speed though, this drive is fine, nothing spectacular, simply to be used as a hard drive backup.

4 out of 5 stars Kingston USB key   October 22, 2008

This USB key worked perfectly. It was very inexpensive for an 8GB USB key. I like the metal USB keys better but this plastic one works great.
