 Kingston Jump Drive October 24, 2008
The jump drive works fine for what I need it to be: a hard drive backup. Like other reviews, the Kingston jump drive is slow. An older drive I use (a USB 1.0) copies and reads faster than this one does. Other than waiting longer for it to do its thing, it works.

Prices have been coming down for these recently, and this was such a great deal! I originally got it to store & transfer vacation pictures, but my boyfriend has taken posession of it as his own ~ so I guess I'll be buying another one! Kingston products are usually very dependable, we are very satisfied with this product.

Pros:
[x]Very cheap for 8gb...
[x]Doesn't have that BullS*** additional software "U3".
[x]so that means more room for other IMPORTANT things.
[x]Doesn't install extra junk on every computer you use it with *cough* u3
[x] Much faster without the u3
[x] Nice and compact
Cons:
Didn't come with that string you attach at the end of the USB hub. like all the others do. even though it had a chain at the back FOR the string....still nothing was there to use it with. oh well
its a supra small thing, nothing to get all crazy about. im just glad that this doesn't have U3
it seems to be the ONLY simplistic USB out there.
FYI: the simpler the USB - more room you get to have to store your info
