the case is okay. it doesn't work with other earphones jacks except for the ones that come with the ipod.

Nice case. However the headphone plug will not fit all the way into the jack because the case is too close to the jack. Case is not functional.

This review pertains to the rubberized version...I love this case! I love that the rubberization makes it easier to hang on to my Nano and I love that it came in the perfect red to match my (Product)RED iPod! It keeps the Nano from getting scratched or marred and all the controls are easily accessible. I don't even have to remove the case when I put the Nano into my Nike Plus system armband. The Nike plus system fits easily into the charging slot and then the whole thing fits right into the arm band, case and all!
This case has a little hinged door at the bottom that allows access to the charging plug when open, yet protects it when closed while still allowing use of your headphone jack and locking toggle. If you want to set the Nano into a cradle or docking station you will need to remove the Nano from the case entirely depending on the system you are using. Removing the case itself is easy enough it clicks together and can be removed by simply opening the door at the bottom and pulling the case apart. It takes a minute the first time but after that its easy. Plus, the case doesn't leave marks or residue on the Nano itself.
I love that the static screen protectors and mirror backing protectors were included with the case. I tossed the click wheel protector because it really isn't functional and doesn't stay in place. Besides, there isn't really a need for it. This is my third iPod and the fifth one in our house... I've yet to have the click wheel markings fade, and I scroll through a lot.
I've purchased other cases from this seller (PCMicrostore)and I am happy with the quality of the products and with this storefront so far.

I am very happy with this case. I bought the blue leather model for the nano 3G. It snapped together easily and looks really good (not cheap as some other reviewers had said). The plastic film also works really well and doesn't interfere with the wheel. There is plenty of room on the bottom for the power cord, headphone cord, and to access the lock switch.

This was a gift for my 14 year old. She likes the color but found that the outside of it gets dirty often and lots of dust gets under it. She needs to keep taking it off of the ipod to clean it. She recommended getting the rubber kind next time.
