1 out of 5 stars VERY BAD AND FRAGILE - SEAMS TORN OFF!   February 24, 2007

Updated: seems to be a defect (very unusual), the manufacturer is very professional and is sending me a new set. I will amend this comment in a short delay accordingly.

First of all, there is no zip to securely maintain the sensor... Well it's neoprene so it's very extensible, I'm just wondering how many people have lost their sensor while running. I fixed it on my shoe and while attaching it (I took care), all the seams torn off!!!! Unfortunately I cannot send a picture in the comment to show you that's really a piece of sh.t but trust me, I'm running a lot (including marathons): do not spend 5 dollars in such useless low quality piece of fabric!

5 out of 5 stars Great Product   February 16, 2007

The pouch is a great addition to any pair of running shoes that use laces. I have been running in New Balances for years and wanted to purchase the Nike+iPod system since it came out but refused to convert to Nike. After finding the pouch I want ahead and picked up the Nike+iPod. The people that make the pouch provide great customer service as well.

The shoe pouch is as accurate as wearing the sensor in your shoes. This is the way to go if you just have one pair of Nike +

5 out of 5 stars Great idea   February 12, 2007

This is a great idea that saved me a lot of money! It securely holds the sensor and the Nike shoes are not required. The fit is snug and keeps the calibration exact. You don't feel it on your shoe. It is not water proof, but there is some protection for the sensor. Overall, a really great product.

Mine ripped after a week so I email Grantwood Technology on a Sunday & was emailed back an hour later.
They stated they have only had a few problems & said he would mail me a replacement the next day.
Two new ones were sent out the next day. It works very well. THe reciever needs to remain still when running for acurate readings & this product works perfect. I didn't have to calibrate the sensor it works so well.

It works great w/out buying the Nike+ shoes.
