Nice and sturdy April 10, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I just received my purple case today and I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality considering the low price. It is very heavy duty and holds my Zune quite snug. I have several sets of earphones and all work just fine but I do have to take my Zune our of the case to charge it. I had picked the purple because the picture showed it as having 3 individual holes cut out for the buttons as opposed to the open cut-out bar. I have the brown Zune and wanted as much of it covered as possible so I was disappointed when I received the open bar style. I called and spoke with someone at NextWeb who explained that they would be more than happy to provide me with an exchange but they had gotten so many complaints about the cases with the individual holes (holes were too small to push the buttons easily) that they stopped sending those out. After talking to him I realized that the style I received was probably much more user friendly and decided not to exchange it. I will definitely order from NextWeb again.
P.O.S February 17, 2008 This case blows! I guess its what I get for being cheap, but my wife dug the purple case. The aluminum is thin, it has NO LCD protector at all despite what the ad says. Her headphones do not fit in the slot cut in the top. Its just a poorly made case. I guess you get what you pay for.
Very Nice Case February 1, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is a really nice case. The aluminum is sturdy and its assuring to know my Zune is protected. I have had my Zune break twice and I turned to this case to prevent it from happening again, and I'm certain it will greatly protect it. Some people say that you need to remove the Zune from the case to charge it but it fits perfectly for me. It is just what I was expecting and it gives it a cool looking metalic finish =). Also the shipping was super fast. I would buy from these people again.
CASE January 27, 2008 I liked the case a lot however it was rather bulky and cold. It prohibited me from plugging in my headphones and the latch broke the day I got it. The case it good for packing protection but not real practical for everyday use. I DID however REALLY REALLY appreciate the quick service in sending the package and the wonderful condition the case itself was in.
Thank You
Zune Beats iPod December 11, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I had been debating about whether i should buy a Zune or an iPod to play my MP3s and videos. I finally bought the 30GB Zune when the price was reduced. All I can say is WOW! The Zune is the 5th MP3 player that I've ever owned and it beats the others hands down. It also beats the iPod. I don't think that the iPod can compare to the Zune. for starters, the display screen on the Zune is the largest you'll find on an MP3 player. It plays smooth videos that are easy to see on the larger screen. The sound form the Zune is amazing. The interface program and functions on the Zune and on the home computer are awesome. The selections are bright, easy, well organized and large enough to read easily. the Zune also has a feature that I wasn't aware of, but I use it often - FM RADIO. Who knew? I didn't. It was like a bonus. There are also features that let you share your Zune media with other Zunes. You can set your Zune so that it can recognize other Zunes in the vacinity. Kinda cool. The picture slideshows are great and the display quality is great. There's a Podcast feature on the Zune also, but I've been using the other features so much that in the 2 months that I've had the Zune, I haven't even gotten to use it yet. Also, the ZUNE software is now my default media player on my computer.
Folks might complain that the ZUNE is too bulky and boxy, but I rather like a substantial piece or hardware that doesn't seem fragile or flimsy. You really can't go wrong with the Zune.
It is a sturdy, efficient, feature-packed entertainment center. Skip the iPod fad and purchase a Zune.
