I want to pull my hair out!!! March 15, 2008 Ok, this is the worst NBA game ever!!!!!! My biggest problem was how unrealistic the shooting was. If you have the difficulty set on Starter for 5 min periods you score about 45 points a game. If you change it to Rookie at 5 min periods you score about 150 points a game. Come on EA make up your mind. Another annoyance... and this is the worst out of all of them is that when your shot gets blocked, your player stands there and looks at the basket like he is expecting to make the shot. By the time he realizes that his shot was blocked the opposing team has already scored. Another glitch is when you inbound the ball, the player throws it half way down the court instead of to the player 2 feet in front of him. It always seems like your team can never drive to the hoop, but when the opposing team drives to the hoop your team stands back and gets out of their way. The Players rating are way off too, Allen Iverson had 2 points for a whole game. THIS GAME SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Macaroni is so good when playing this game! March 8, 2008 To my current response to the title, the macaroni tastes good.... and its homemade. About NBA Live 05 here's the scoop... Graphics- Perfectly normal. There is no malfunctions with it and they aren't blowing my mind. Rating: 4/5
Player Skill/ Transportation- The players in this game are phenominal. The skill isn't perfect, but you can adjust it anywhere except career. I created a player who had long blonde hair, but in the end he looked like a blonde Will Ferrell from Semi Pro. The transportation system is easy and simple. 4/5 and 4/5.
Career- Nothing I can say but ok. 3/5.
Gameplay- The gameplay in this game is great. You can run around and dunk it...... WOW! 4/5.
My overall judgement was chosen out of a hat and it was 5. My personal rating is 4/5. This game is worth the money.
Great game! December 17, 2006 This game is basically a regular NBA game like before. The grapics are alittle on the bad side. But i was always a fan of NBA Live so i give this game a 5.
A block party.... June 22, 2006 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Generally, i didnt have any issues with the game other than the over abundance of block shots in the game. Not only the CPU but on my team as well. When i can get someone that has 15 blocks in a game something needs to be tweaked a bit. I enjoyed the other aspects of the game and the gameplay was solid for the most part. That was my main gripe with the game.
High Five for Live '05 June 21, 2006 This was the best sports game ever when it was released. The dunks in this game are amazing. The dynasty mode is sensational. The freestyle innovations are great. The dribble styles are neat. The competion modes can vary as much as you want them to. This can be as easy or as hard as you want it to be. You get to choose between five difficulties of playing. You can change the abilities of each player in around twenty areas. There are settings for you to change how hard or easy it is for you and the opponent, seperately, to shoot the ball as well as do just about everything else. You can customize current players or make your own made up player that is good or not so good. Created players can be anywhere from five foot tall and one hundred twenty pounds to seven foot six inches tall and three hundred fifty pounds. You can do almost anything involving NBA basketball in this game.
