1 out of 5 stars this game sucks   October 4, 2008
I m a winning eleven fan since 1997 i stopped playing fifa and loved the all versions of pes games until 2008
i bought this game in usa PS3 for 90 dollars before it was in stocks here. even though they fixed the frame rate it is unacceptable to me that konami still couldnt get the license for player names and they still have stupid tournaments instead of champions leagues and poor graphics and alot of bugs in the game
online playing is really bad . Than i bought fifa 2008 eventhough i hate ea sports but suprisely after playing pes 2008 fifa 2008 was like a heaven .. i m still gonna buy the pes 2009 and fifa 2009 hopefully this time i will go back to pes 2009
KONAMI PLEASE GET THE LICENSE foR PLAYER NAMES AND LEAGUES

This is the best soccer game ever, better than FIFA ST.3, FIFA soccer or any other soccer game. This game is highly reconmended.

PES2008 is a fantastic game! Much better than FIFA, this game is a real soccer simulator (while FIFA is an arcade game!)

3 out of 5 stars great game but better for PS2   July 8, 2008

It is really good but I prefer the version for Ps2
I hope Pes2009 will be better

5 out of 5 stars PES is still the best   June 19, 2008
I've played both PES2008 and FIFA2008 versions. Although the graphics of FIFA2008 look somehow better (players...), however the gameplay of PES is still the best. The frame rate lag has been fixed after issues come from version in Europe.

To edit player's name and team's name, you can easily download the saved data from game's forum to update instead of manually changing by yourself.

Love it!!!
