5 out of 5 stars Great Collection, Great Value   September 29, 2008
Five games, one box, $27 dollars. There isn't a better value in gaming right now. Half Life 2, Episode 1 and Episode 2 are basically all the same game. Sure, HL2 has outdated graphics but the gameplay is engaging and wide ranging. Half-Life's story itself is very interesting and it kind of drives me nuts that its going to have taken over 10 years for the whole tale to be told.

Portal, the next game, is the most unique game I've ever played. Describing it as a first person puzzle game will have to suffice but it doesn't do it justice. Portal challenges the way you think. Toss in the ridiculous humor and the re-playability (a variety of difficulty levels) and you have a great game; most of the most unique things to hit the market in years.

The last game, Team Fortress two, the sequel to the grand daddy of team based combat. It's incredibly simple, but also incredibly fun.

5 out of 5 stars Orange box is good, Portal is better.   September 29, 2008
The Orange Box is a really awesome video game. Half-life 2 and Episode 1 and 2 are very intriguing. The game play can get a little boring after a while if you're more into that Call of Duty style shoot-em-up. Half-Life 2 is really more of a puzzle-shooter. However, it is highly enjoyable, and beatable in about a week if you devote a good bit of time to it. Team Fortress 2 is a lot of fun, but I wouldn't buy it just for that. Now, Portal, that is what the Orange Box is all about. Portal is an original awesome puzzle game that you would have never expected to be so fun. The game is beatable in about 3-4 hours for your highly motivated thinker/game player. The best part though, is once you've beat the game, going back and trying to get the achievements. I would highly recommend the Orange Box to everyone.

5 out of 5 stars 5 FREAKING GAMES FOR 30 bucks!   September 27, 2008
Half Life 2, Half Life 2 Episode 1 and 2, Team Fortess, and Portal. If anyone with a brain can see, five game for only thirty dollars is a bargain. It has a great line up from the Half life games, Portal, and Team Fortress. This pack will keep you busy for awhile. Portal is the greatest game that's been created for such a long time, it's design and concept will blow you away. Lets see, Half Life games is great single player experience, it has Portal which is the puzzle shooter that everyone's been waiting for, and Team Fortress, the critically exclaimed as the best multiplayer to come to the Xbox.

5 out of 5 stars With this kind of value how can you go wrong?   September 26, 2008
The Orange Box has won a lot of praise from all over. For the most part I agree but I think it needs to be quantified. Is there any part of TOB that's going to blow you away? No. Everyone's played HL2 before so it's nothing too new. Mind you, it was cool on the PC when it came out a few years ago but it's the still the same on the 360. The other games are fun too but by themselves they aren't anything tremendous. The graphics aren't exactly knocking the walls down either. But don't that that turn you off. What it does have is a hugh amount of good solid content all rolled together. You just can beat the value TOB offers of the serios or casual gamer. There really something for everyone. I would give this a solid buy recommendation to just about anyone with an XBox 360.

5 out of 5 stars Almost a year and still going strong!   September 23, 2008
It has almost been a year since The Orange Box released and I still almost play it at least three times a week! This is by far the best deal ever in gaming. There is something for everyone to enjoy. If you have never played half life, they are all included in this GAME! Portal is amazing and TF2 is why I still play a year later. First and only game I have paid $60 for and can say its worth the money!
