5 out of 5 stars Great!!!   July 27, 2008
Great item! Small and fast to install. I have to re-install it every time i want to use it (30 second process) but i think the problem is MY computer. Once ready, i enjoy many hours of fun! Highly recommended.

5 out of 5 stars worked as intended   April 26, 2008

kinda sucks that you need to download info from the cd on your computer to be able to use the wifi connector, so you can't really take it anywhere. i was hoping to use this at work, since our wifi sucks...but since i can't put anything on my work computers, thats a no go. but at home it worked just fine after putting the cd in.

1 out of 5 stars ***Does NOT work with Vista***   April 24, 2008

I was given one of these as a gift last year, and had a wonderful year playing Animal CrossingWW with friends around the world....until my husband gave me a new computer for our 18th wedding aniversary. Then my little world, with all my friends, disappeared, because it can't be set up to work with Vista and Norton. I have spoken with Nintendo, Gateway, and others about this, and everyone agrees that its a lost cause, and to switch to a wireless router.

This gadget is fantastic, so long as you are playing Win XP. If that is your OS, then go for it, and have fun! But it is not supported by Nintendo, despite their having an 'upgrade' available for Vista users, and they admit its of little help, and tell you go get a wireless router. They no longer make these, and told me they will not be supporting them much longer, because it poses some kind of security risk to users. *sigh*

it was too good to be true...

3 out of 5 stars If you have Wi-Fi you don't need it...   April 17, 2008
You only need this thing if you do not have wi-fi in your house. This device plugs into a PC with a wired internet connection and then the Wii talks, via wireless signal, to this thing, and in turn uses that PC's internet connection. Naturally, the PC needs to be on for it to work.
