Assassins Creed August 29, 2008 Very good game. As I bought it together with GTA, GRID, MGS4 and other 3 excelent game, I am not playing much Assassins, because as you can see I bought TOP games and it is hard to choose which one to play in my short available time. But I can see that it has excelent graphics, gameplay and lots of fun stuff to do. I recommend.
No Title August 28, 2008 Ever since getting a Playstation, I've been waiting for a game with a large-scale city, with civilians that react to me and my presence, I just did'nt think I'd have to forfet gamepalya nd overal fun to get it. Assasin's Creed does give me 3 gorgeous, open-ended cities with all the skyscraping towers an acrobatic bad-ass could ever want, but besides that, theres nothing. Although I wanted a responsive city, I was hoping for a little more than platoons of bare-knuckle brawling lunitics and in-your-face beggars that will constintly blow your cover in the same 5 recycled missions.
The only motive that compelled me to play, was the historical-hitman storyline with a 21st century perspective that lines itself up right for the inevitable sequal. Cutscenes are free-moving with alternating camera angle options that where an obivious nod to Half-Life 2. Giving the protagonist Altiar, Anikin Skywalker characteristics made me feel like I was truly a Med-Evil Jedi. Especialy in the counter-combat animations, which were totally sick, even if the control scheme was a total button masher.
Great Game but, lack a few things. March 15, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The graphics were great very realistic, not to mention the whole medieval thing going. Very fun game to play the assasins are pretty cool and killing the guards are fun as well. Walking through the crowds and just the interacting between the people is amazing.
But here is what it lacking:
The game can be very repetitive though because you do the same thing every mission and after hours of play you dont want to play any more. Changing the missions objectives up would be great becasue than it would be a challenge and keep you interested. They also should have added weather changes to the game. Assassinated targets in rain would have been great. There also wasnt many hiding places which is weird for a big city you would think that maybe you could hide in a tree or barrel or something or inside a building. There also were a few glitches in the game. At times he would just freeze in the middle of the air and you would had to restart the system.
Overall the game was good but could of been much better. Hopefully the sequel will be better.
Great story, good single player game, great graphics! March 14, 2008 I just have this game for 1 month and it's very complete rpg and good for me, it has so many challeges, it's dificult, but that's makes it more interasting, so many quests, things to find, things to do, and the graphis for me, playing it on a HDTV and in 1080i, it really looks amazing!
I love it. Have a great time and good luck.
It's a great buy March 14, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Listen, If your looking for a good game that's worth playing, well you've found one. Assassin's Creed is awesome. The training tutorial it pretty straight foward. And trust me it's going to be hard to put down. This assassin is like on another level. He is soo agile, climbing building is a walk in the park. His sword technics are swift and deadly. The game has quite a bit of freedom too, the graphics are great, He rides horses, swings or beams or yeah and the leap of faith.. that part freaked me out the first time i saw it.. Its like what man in his right mind is going to climb up a giant tower and jump off into a small pile of hay then get up like nothing happen. Incredible. I just love the game. Trust you'll enjoy it too.
