Hours of kid entertainment July 16, 2008 This is a great game! I like that it introduces Star Wars I-III to my kids. They are too young to watch the movie, but the game is more innocuous, so it's ok. They beg me to play it, so I have to set up a timer to monitor how long they play. I highly recommend it.
Interesting game July 13, 2008 For all the Star wars fans, this game is a complete radical way to enjoy the Star Wars Universe. Yes, we know this is not the exact game for the die hard players, but at least, I have got a lot of fun with my 5 y.o. child and we spend hours playing (of course after doing the homework and the everyday duties. As a whole video game it is quite simple and easy to play, no need of complex strategies, so you can finish the hame in some hours if you are an experienced player, but the fact of having the family together solving the episodes and going to the films to have a better understanding, in my personal point of view is something that not every game can achieve. If you want to live again your childhood having Lego and Star Wars together in a way you spend quality time with the family, his is the right game for you.
WARNING!!!!! July 9, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love the game and so did my kids, who are 5 and 6. they can actually play with some adult assistance. However, DO NOT GET THIS GAME IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A nVIDIA Chip!!! Otherwise it will not play or run. How that happened, I will never know, if you do not have the chip you can download a fix that will quit and kill the game right in the middle. Hopefully the Complete Saga fixes this, because Starwars 2 Lego did not have this problem.
Good game, but occasional random crashes June 23, 2008 Star Wars Lego I: The Video Game Good PC game, with excellent graphics. However, at random times the game crashes in Windows XP Professional (Media Center edition) with a pop-up to report the problem to Microsoft. Technical support from the vendor provides a "cop-out" response that perhaps the video card drivers are not up to date. In my case, they are, but the crashes continue.
I purchased the Logitech Rumblepad (with vibration support) to use with the game, but was disappointed to find that the game does not support vibration like the XBOX version does. For a second controller, I saved some money by purchasing a Logitech Dual Action controller.
Great Game, but buggy June 13, 2008 I loved the Lego Star Wars II game so I decided to pick up this one as well. The game is fun, but just not quite on par with Lego Star Wars II. It is a bit buggy, but there is plenty of support online. I had trouble with it starting after the first time I ran it. Turned out to be a simple problem to fix after reading the forums (just deleting a file). I would highly recommend this game to anyone!
